Fry sausages in oil until brown, remove from pan. Gently fry onion for 5 mins then add tomatoes, tomato puré‚e, Worcestershire sauce and season with s & p and herbs. Simmer gently for ten mins without a lid. Line bottom of ovenproof dish with 4 sheets of lasagne. Put 4 sausages on top, cover with _ of tomato sauce and _ of cheese. Repeat this layer. Bake at gas mark 5/180°C for 40 mins. Vanessa's Lemon Cake
Cream margarine and sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs and flour alternately and beat mixture. Add the grated rind of the lemon. Put mixture into a greased loaf tin. Cook for 1 hour approx. at gas mark 2/150°C. While the cake is still hot, take the cake out of the tin. Mix 1 tbsp. sugar and lemon juice together, skewer cake all over and drizzle lemon mixture over the cake. |
